Dick and
Lura Hammond formed Leadership On The Move!
because of their desire to incorporate experiential learning with
leadership
development. Together, they have over 35 years of experience in
leadership
training as participants, program coordinators, facilitators, and
trainers.

"This
was the most interesting and challenging day I have had in years.
You two are the Best!"

Show me and I may remember,
Let me and then I'll understand."
Learning by
experience promotes retention of knowledge. When one becomes
involved in the learning process, you take on the ownership of the
knowledge you want to retain. Leadership
On The Move! practices that
philosophy.

We, at Leadership On The Move, recognize the difference between a recreational program and the benefits of a facilitated team building program. Each group has its own unique needs and requirements. Our indoor and outdoor teambuilding programs provide support, balance and the leverage for organizations and companies to maximize their human resource potential. A good, experienced facilitator recognizes the needs of the group and therefore “facilitates” what is happening, not just what the facilitator wants to happen. Teambuilding programs, as well as Challenge Courses, are not created equal. Each event is custom designed to allow the “team” to foster communication, trust, problem solving, goal setting and much more! Our facilitators are specially trained for site specific facilitation of a safe program. They must maintain First Aid and CPR certifications, and have proof of a minimum of forty (40) hours of training through a Level 3 (or higher) PVM (preferred vendor member), of ACCT (Association of Challenge Course Technology). Inaddition, they must show proof they attended a annual skills review. That means when your group is being led by our facilitaotrs, the group's potential is maximised by someone who knows how to glean the most out of your time. |
