Leadership Dynamics

Leadership Dynamics is an interactive program based on the Five Leadership Characteristics from Leadership Challenge by Kouzes and Posner:

Challenge the Process - Leadership is an active process. Leaders must be willing and able to change processes and behaviors.

Inspire a Shared Vision - A dream or vision is the force that invents the future.

Tinker ToysEnable Others to Act - Leaders achieve success through others. People empowered to act produce extraordinary results!

Model the Way - Leaders must be clear about their beliefs and act consistently with those beliefs. Position may grant authority, but behavior earns respect.

Encourage the Heart - The climb to the top is difficult and easily abandoned by unmotivated team members. Leaders must seek Win-Win situations.

This interactive program can be presented in 4 to 6 hours or may be divided into segments over several meetings. Each characteristic will be presented in both narrative and participative formats. Designed to enhance everyone's leadership skills, Leadership Dynamics is a must for any organization. (4-6 hours to play)

"Your interest and focus on community leadership programs is obvious. Please accept our gratitude and compliments."
Dan Johnson, Asst. City Manager, City of Richardson, TX

Rainbow Leadership

Each individual has their own leadership style:

REDs are bottom line, result oriented leaders.
YELLOWs are expressive leaders, more concerned with relationships and making friends than the bottom line.
BLUEs are quiet but creative.
GREENs love details and seek control.

With Rainbow Leadership, you will not only know your leadership style, but you'll learn to recognize the style of those around you. While each person's style may be characterized with one color, in reality we are all a "Rainbow" of colors.

How much more efficiently will your group work together if they know the tasks each person likes to do?!? The time and frustration that can be saved by knowing each "Color's" perspective is amazing! All groups have to work together, and will become more efficient and productive - and in a short period of time!

Rainbow Leadership can do that and much more.
A must for any group.
The benefits are UNLIMITED!!

"We represented a true cross-section of different nationalities, cultures, and backgrounds. Your one-day course did more to bring us together as a team than any other experience we have had."
-William E. Irwin, Quality Assurance, JC Penney Company

Change Enlightenment

Seasons at Stony Ranch

Every one wants change, but no one wants to change!
Change is inevitable…how do you deal with it is the key.

In this interactive workshop we will give the participants an opportunity to experience “change”.  Then each participant will have the challenge of facing the issues of change.  How we see change from our individual prospective is in a large part, how we face it, react to it and accept it.  This workshop is most effectively done in 2-3 hours with a group size of 12 or more.

Peacock

Peacocks are proud birds.  In the spring, they strut with pomp and circumstance, displaying their glory; in the summer, they loose their beautiful feathers, and their beauty diminishes; and in the winter, they begin the change by regenerating their many colors of beauty.  They change naturally, but most people only notice them when they are in full splendor.  How do you want to be noticed?  Do you change naturally?  Do you display your “beauty”?  Are you proud as a peacock, strut and resist change?  Change is a choice!

“Wow, this opened my eyes!  I really thought that I accepted change readily, but now I see how closed my eyes really are. Thanks for reminding me that I need to be more aware of my own environment.”
- Nellie Johnson, CLA Conference Attendee

Eat That Frog!!

You will never be able to do everything you have to do, nor will you ever get caught up. But, your ability to select the most important task at the moment will probably have more of an impact on your success than any skill you can develop.  This interactive program focuses on the more important decisions you need to make each day and on what you need to do later. Taking on the biggest “frog” that you are most likely to procrastinate about and devouring it first. This program is designed to accommodate a group of 15-30 people for a two-hour block of time.

“Eat that Frog” is a term used by Brian Tracy in his book by the same title.

Frog

"This was a great way to "jump" start the New Year with the staff.  It was fun, and light hearted, but really got the point across!"
-James Poole, Baylor Health Care Systems
